Dears,

Our company rehire an employee, who left the company last year. Now we activated the employee to use old record. Only problem is, that we want to reset employee leave accruals to 0 after this new joining date.

Please let me know, if it is possible and what will be the steps.

Regards,

What tool (HR Attendance, Payroll, PTO Manager) are you using to track accruals?

We are using HR Attendance and Payroll only to track accruals.

I might suggest that you have a look at the post attched.  It discusses how to make the system allow you to se the accrual options in both HR and Payroll.

Reg, this might be different for Canadian Payroll - I am going to look at it later tonight.

Let me know if this helps.

I tried this option but it did not work for me. Also I need to reset only one employee's vacations.

So I fixed it by changing directly in database tables (TATM1030, TATX1030).

    Thanks,

Shakil, did you get a chance to figure out this issue.

If so, can you post your solution to this problem to assist others that may encounter this error or situation.

    Good afternoon,

As you indicated it is Vacation you are looking to remove, I am not familiar with this as we actually pay out Vacation if someone is terminated. Vacation is associated with the Accounting portion of Payroll as a Liability when were talking CND PR. So you can't exactly remove it without some issues. Changing it in the tables could also effect the Accounting portion.

However, the easiest solution I would suggest is giving the employee a new Employee Id and possibly transferring their history if necessary.

    Hope this helps,

    Amanda

Did you  try to reset the vacation hours in Employee Maintenance >> Vac/Sick Button.
