VBA Not Loading Every time

We have an issue since upgrading to GP2013 (1745) where the VBA will not load Everytime.

The GP Client is located on machine where the users access through an RDS App.

Even when logged onto the machine directly, the VBA may not load every time.

We setup a new remote machine and the same issue occurs.

The VBA project in Excel is available, so we figured the issue is on the Dynamics GP side.

Has anyone experienced this sort of issue, or any recommendations.

Thanks,

Mick

    Hi Mick,

Can you run Dynamics GP as Administrator by right click on GP icon and see if it VBA code is executing or not. If yes then probably user access issue.

    Thanks Much

    Sandip,

Tried all those combinations, run as administrator, UAC off.  Deleted all the VBA files in the GP2013 folder.

If we connect to the machine using RDP with mstsc /admin, still can experience the same problem.

    Hi Mick

Did you go through the VBA Registry permissions changes as mentioned in the usual KB articles?

    David,

We did all that and more.

The IT admin logged in yesterday and had the same issue.

We installed a later Service Pack on GP2013 to update the dexterity shared components and same issue.

I tried disabling the non Microsoft services in Startup to no avail.

What was noticeable was that after each computer restart the VBA works on the first RDP session to the machine, and after that is more miss then hit.

We are going to install on a local machine at the site, but suspect this will work.

Strangely it happens on 2 RDP machines, they are going to build a new RDS machine and see what happens.

    Standby for more news.

    Thanks,

    Mick

Were you ever able to resolve this issue? I am experiencing this issue as well with GP2018 accessed via a RDS App.
