Email Router Configuration Error

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi,

Asking for some help on how to resolve this kind of problem

I have installed email router to our Disaster Recovery (DR) Server and copied all credentials and setup from our CRM Production application. Unfortunately, i've encountered above error. Is this issue related why I am also not able to send email inside the CRM app? After sending email using various users, status is always "Pending Send". Please help :(

    RE: Email Router Configuration Error

    Hello there.

Could it be that TLS 1.0 is disabled on the servers you are trying to configure this? I know that the Email Router will not work if TLS 1.0 is disabled and that you have to either activate TLS 1.0 again (not recommended) or just move over to the server-side synchronization.

Please be informed also that email router config setting were just copied from our production side.

i was able to load data on our dr side by unchecking proxy settings in internet options, see screenshot below.

then i have tried to compare our prod and dr server using test access on the email router, see screenshot below for comparison

Once again, usually connections to exchange servers are HTTPS.  The error says http.   Is that correct?

Why you have so many profiles?  Usually there is 1 for each server?  Are they all different servers.  Try having only 1 profile and confirm the URL along with the user name and password.  How password.

    RE: Email Router Configuration Error

Can you show us the configuration page?   Seems like the error is straight forward.   Also check to ensure the firewall is not blocking any ports.   One other note is i see it is point to  an HTTP URL and usually both CRM and Exchange would be HTTPS URL.
