Sync already created custom BC table to new Dataverse table using Standard Integration

Hello!

I am currently working with a customer that would like to use the Standard Integration between Business Central and Dynamics 365 Sales.
The sync is up and running, and working fine, everything is currently standard and out of the box, which is what I have experience with from earlier.

The customer also has a custom table in Business Central that they would like to sync to a table in Dataverse. Currently there are no table in Dataverse that I can sync it to, so I will have to create a custom table, which is no big deal, but this is where I step into uncharted territory, and where I would love some assistance in a way.

Most of the documentation I have found online creates a Business Central table based on a Dataverse table. This is not the case this time, as the table already exists in Business Central, but not in Dataverse.
Through the Standard Integration, and the New Table Mapping, I am able to select the Business Central table, but I am missing the Dataverse table, as there are no integration table available. I assume I have to create that somehow, but I am not sure how.

So my question is - how can I go forward from here, to map the custom Business Central table with a new Dataverse table, and get the data to sync between them?
I have the same question (0)

In any case, you need to use AL Table Proxy Generator tool to create an intermediate table. Hope the following can give you some hints.

Business Central 2024 wave 1 (BC24): Changes to AL Table Proxy Generator tool (altpgen) – Two additional arguments: ClientId and RedirectUri

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Let me tell you the other way out, now we dont have to fetch the CE table and write up the code in AL to integrate with, Instead we have a Field Mapping functionality where you can directly link both the table in BC.
See the screenshot below and try again.

    Hi

I had already fiddled around with the Integration Table Mappings before deciding to post here, and was unable to pick the custom Dataverse table as my integration table. I am able to pick the custom BC table, but there are only a select few Dataverse tables available.

    As for YUN ZHUs reply,
These are the same articles I was looking at when researching, but I was unsure if this was the way to go, as all of the start with a custom Dataverse table, and then create a BC table based on that. Now I am going the other way around, as the BC table already exists, and I am missing the Dataverse table.

Is there anything I need to keep in mind when running the tool, or can I just create an Azure app, run the script, insert the parameters, and everything should go smooth?

The method mentioned by Nitin must also be added after the intermediate table is created.
There is no order of precedence, as long as there are common fields in both tables.
The steps required for the latest version are detailed in the post below. I just used it in a project recently, so it should be usable.
