Dynamics CRM 2013 UR3

Hi,

I've some problems with a fresh CRM installation:

My System:

Windows Server 2008 R2

CRM 2013 Workgroup Server

Applied Patches: Service Pack 1, UR1, UR2. CRM is now on build number 6.1.0000.0581

Unfortunatley I cannot install UR3 (KB2930480), error is always: "This update is not compatible with your version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM"

Any suggestions?

Thanks and regards,

Michael

    Hi,

UR3 is not for Sp1 you need UR1 for SP1-

    Hope this helps,

    Hi,

if you read this on the rollup 3 page: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2930480

If Update Rollup 3 is applied, we recommend that you wait until Update Rollup 1 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 Service Pack 1 (SP1) is available before you upgrade to the Service Pack 1 release stream. This is because Update Rollup 3 may contain fixes that are not included in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 SP1.

Its not yet available for download yet I guess, any idea when it would be available?

    Hello Michael,

That's right. Since UR3 and SP1 updates are 2 different set of upgrades, you will not be able to install any of the URs (i.e. UR1, UR2 or UR3) if the installed version is SP1.

But, if this is a fresh installation, either you can uninstall CRM and re-install or note the option for the future references:

Make sure you select "Do not get updates for CRM Server 2013" during the installation process.

    Regards,

    Kiran Deshmukh
