Hi

Let say we create a new page in BC and name it "Appointment". Then enter date/time/reason (and some other info). Is it possible that

1) this page create exact appointment in specific shared calendar in Outlook?  if yes how (including development)

2) How about in user calendar for specific use assuming we capture user info in BC page? if yes how (including development)

3) How we can make sure this page in BC does not double book a user?

4) Is bi-direction sync possible? Like when appointment created in specific Outlook calendar then create new record in this BC page?

Thanks

I have the same question (0)

Hi, In theory, Power Automate can do it.

Also I suggest waiting next month, after the new For a selected record trigger is updated, it may be much simpler.

The info is from the following webinar.

    WEBINAR | Thursday 24. March 16:00 CET
Topic: What's new in Business Central 2022

    Hope this will help.

    Thanks.

    I like Yun’s idea.

If you look at standard the closest things available are job planning lines - let’s you send (only) an outlook calendar invite to a resource record. There is also an integration with Microsoft Bookings - standalone site where diary bookings can be made.

    Hi Yun and Josh

Thanks for ideas. We will investigate Power Automation.

Josh by any chance do you know codeunit in Job Planning that does that?

    Thanks

Hi, first you need to assign a email to job planning line calendar in Email Scenario.

Then you can find outlook action in Job Planning lines page.

PS: The new trigger mentioned yesterday, Microsoft updated with a new image.
