Working on FRx report: want to access full account

Trying to link a row using the full account but the system only show the main or naturalized segment.  I've tried looking in the Add Rows from COA screen and only one segment is available to setup.  This company uses two segments in GP!  Why can't I see both segment?

    Hi Estelle -

    If you are trying to add an account to the row format, then double click on the cell on the "Link to General Ledger". You will get the "GL Accounts Link" window. In there, double click the cell below the column "Acct Segment". From the list, select "Full". You can now enter the full account code, rather than just the core account. i hope this is what your question was.

    Sandeep's steps are correct, this should enable you to see both segments. If for whatever reason you do not see anything after trying this you can check the SQL table to see if something did not build correct in Dynamics GP. If you run the following query against the company database you should see both the account and dimensions in the acct_code column.

    Select * from frl_acct_code

    Estelle,

    In addition, If you want to account numbers automatically you can use Add Rows from Chart of Accounts window from Edit >> Add Rows from Chart of Accounts. You can enter the & in all account segments to populate the full accounts.
