Hello All,

I merged my plugin dll and third party dll but getting below exception.

CRMMySQLConnection.MSCRMMySql.PostLeadCreate: System.BadImageFormatException: Bad binary signature. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131192)

Please help me how I should resolve this. This error come when I perform action when that plugin is triggering.

    did you include the keyfile parameter in the ilmerge command?

    I came across this issue and was able to resolve it in my instance (not sure if it will work for everyone).  The plugin assembly was for Dynamics 365 (8.2) and I was targeting the .Net Framework 4.6 and using ILMerge to merge in several dlls.  Changing the target framework to 4.5.2 in each of the assemblies (plugin plus any being referenced) fixed it for me.

    Hi,

    this is a quite old post, but we had the same issue with Dynamics 365 v.9.

    We managed to get it to work with .NET 4.6.2 set on each VS projects. We downloaded a new version of ILMerge and set "Override Target Framework" in ILMerge to .Net 4.6.2.
