
I am currently running RMS 2.0 on Win 7 pro (updated to but not including service pk 4), and I am frequently getting this error, forcing me to restart both of my registers, big hassle, and there is no pattern. Both registers' admin are connected to the database, and managers are signed in, but when one cashier logs out and next shift logs in I get the error, "Not found error 201: the cashier was not found or the password is incorrect." After I restart both machines, it will work properly for a day or so, then reoccur. I've only been running RMS less than a month, still finding my way thru it, but this error I don't know how to fix.
