When trying to update a Microsoft Dynamics 365Version 1612 (8.2.2.112) (DB 8.2.2.112) on-premises to the new Dynamics 365 Server, version 9.0:

I'm getting this Error message:
Does anybody know which Windows versions are compatible with MSDCRM V 9.X OnPremise?

As can be seen under the "System Requirement" section on the download page www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx
the only supported operating system is Windows Server 2016
