    Hi,

if you remove the field from form without delete it.

    - everything will be the same as the time you backup.

if you remove the field from form and delete it.

    - all the field value will gone for each records.

    Hello All Experts,

I want to customize four entities having four forms each having one.

i just want top remove some of the things from the form

    like.

    subgrid,

    multiple fields,

    lookup fields etc.

As in crm 365 i am including this forms in the solution and nothing else, also i am not including Required components except these forms.

i am deleting fields from the forms only and it will be in the system, what is the chance after exporting backup as unmanaged and again reimporting it will keep my customizations as previous.

    Hi,

Since you are using online, then sql backup is not applicable to you,

Create a solution and add in all the related items into the solution, and download it, keep it somewhere safe.

Yes, you can export unmanaged solution as a backup of the solution, make sure you have all the customization in the solution which you are exporting.

    Best regards,

    Shahbaaz

    Hello,

Go into the Settings area and select 'Solutions'

Here you can create a new Solution file where you can include all components that have been customized.

You can export Solutions and re-import them later back into the same or another organization.

There are two types of Solution, as a 'backup' the Unmanaged Solution type would be the best, as you can easily re-import it into the original organization.

The other type is Managed, which is primarily for importing into other organizations where your original Solution is not allowed to be customized any further (like in a customer's organization)
