Hi,

i'm pretty new to Dynamics 365 and have been asked to look at setting up both Fields Services and Project Automation Services for my company and am wondering if there are any detailed guides explaining both services and their initial setups?

Thanks,

Seb

    Hi Sebg,

I share you two useful links that provide all info regarding Field Service and Project Service Automation.

In these links, you can also download the PDF version of the contents for both FieldService and Project Service Automation.

For the Field Service you can go to the following link, which covers these topics:

    • Overview
    • What’s new: new features
    • Administrator Guide, which tells also how to configure default setting
    • User Guide
    • Field Resource Hub User Guide

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/field-service/overview

And for the Project Service Automation go the following link that covers these topics:

    • Overview
    • What's new
    • Administrator Guide, which tells also how to configure project service
    • Resource Manager Guide
    • Project Manager Guide
    • Account Manager Guide
    • Time, Expense, and Collaboration Guide
    • Project Resource Hub Guide

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/project-service/overview

In addition, if you have access to Microsoft Dynamics Learning portal there are some online courses provided by Microsoft that explain how to configure Field Service and may some courses for PSA.
