Is it possible to have two companies (2 legal businesses) operating within one cloud environment of BC? Or would they require their very own environment? Has anyone had any experience with this?

You can have as many companies as you like in the same environment as long as they are run in the same country / localization.

If you run two companies that requires different localized versions they need separate environments but they can still run in the same tenant.

Adding more info.

If your 2nd legal business belongs to same country, yes you can do, and can open no. of companies without any objection.
