Sales return with Scrap as disposition code in D365

Hi,

I created a sales return with Scrap as disposition code in D365.

I thought with Scrap as disposition code, inventory will not be added back to inventory warehouse but instead it will be charged to inventory profit and loss account.

Also when I check the entries in SO invoicing, there is a debit to Inventory account which means that it is added back to inventory.

Am I missing some setup?

I'm using D365.

Pls help.

    Hi,

    System will generate a voucher to scrap the inventory automatically, please check the transaction in voucher transactions of general ledger module.

    Thank you very much for your prompt reply.

    I think it's time consuming for the user to look for the additional entry in general ledger.
