Assign a Contact to Multiple Accounts

I have a requirement to a contact to Multiple Accounts

For ex. there's a manager ABC. He manages some sales by Costco, Walmart, Target and others. So, I want to assign the contact to multiple Accounts (Costco, Walmart, Target in this case).

Also, I have a form on Sales entity where manager ABC would submit a form and he should be able to select one Account from assigned Accounts (Costco, Walmart, Target).

How can I achieve that?

Thanks

    Hi learnincommunity,

If you want to a contact to Multiple Accounts, you need create 1:N relationship between Contact and Account entities.

But you mentioned that you have a form on Sales entity where manager ABC would submit a form.

The form is contact or other entities?

Could you provide more details? or Screenshots?

    Hi

Contact entity has a column Manager that is a lookup (Company) to Account entity. So, I create a contact ABC and under the field Company, I want to enter Costco, Walmart and Target.

Then user ABC logs in the Portal and want to submit a claim form(Created in Claims table). So, when he search for the company (ex. Costco) he wants to submit claim for, he should see Costco, Walmart and Target and should be able to select Costco from three options.

So, essentially, I am using three tables in this use case: Contact, Account and Claims.

I hope I was able to explain the problem statement.

    Hi Partner,

1.Contact entity has a column Manager that is a lookup (Company) to Account entity. So, I create a contact ABC and under the field Company, I want to enter Costco, Walmart and Target.

You mentioned that you need enter Costco, Walmart and Target in the lookup field, but one lookup field can only select one record,

So you need create 1:N relationship between contact and account, and add sub-grid related to account in contact form, then you can add multiple accounts.

Navigate to claim form, add contact and account lookup fields, set account lookup field properties:

Prepopulate contact lookup field with login user in portal management:

    1)Add basic form metadata

    2)Set contact lookup value

Thank You This works great as expected. The other thing I am trying is, on the portal, I want all claims for these 3 companies in a view. The current user should see all claims submitted for Costco, target and Walmart. How can I get that view?
