Hi,

D365 online, v9.

I'm using a Quick Create form for Contact. I have subgrids for Contacts on the Account entity and a custom entity called Subscription.

I want the Quick Create form to load when I click the + on the Account entity, but when I click the + on the Subscription entity, I want a full new Contact window to open instead, not the Quick Create.

Is this possible OOB? No javascript.

There is no way of doing that through customization.

Hello Rich,

Quick create form introduce for subgrid specially to create quickly from parent entity to child entity record or you can say quickly create the record . So when you click "+" icon on top of subgrid which is open completely new form not the entity main form and Dynamics CRM does not provide any action to modify the redirection. So we can not customize this OOB functionality.

Rather I would suggest you can hide those "+" icon from subgrid and indroduce new ribbon button on top of account form and make your customization and redirection logic using javascript there.
