I have just managed to get my hands on the migration tools for moving from RMS v2 ->- POS 2009.

Does anybody know the steps to achieve this?

Thanks

Simon.

The instructions should be in the POSTools.chm file in the kit.

I have read the instructions, they aren't exactly clear on what to do.

    Simon,

This is L. Simon and I would appreciate it if you could direct to the webpage or contact that you used to get the migration package you are referring to in your post.

I can't seem to find it any more, but send me your email address and I'll send it through.

    Regards,

    Simon.

    Nick,

Do you know if there is a migration from POS 2009 -> RMS 2.0?

Anyone who decided to go the other direction would be Seriously Out of Luck now as POS2009 is no longer a viable product.

    Thanks,

    Heidi

Their is not a tool to migrate from 2009 to RMS.   I think Retail Realms has an general import tool that could accomplish most of the process.

If that is not enough,  Email me and I could do this manually for you.  I have experience on both products.

PS, please don't revive a 4 year old post.  Create a new one.
