Hi All

Is there a GP 2015 scalability or performance paper out for Dynamics GP 2015 please?

Thanks

Yeah, I think you're right, I wasn't able to find anything later than that GP2010 scalability paper either.

If you refer to the blog post from Errol back in release 2010, then yes.. but I'm not aware that this exercise has been repeated since then...

OK, thanks Beat, I know Microsoft have these for previous versions of GP to show scalability, but if they have not produced one for GP2015, I'll make use of an older one. The sizing guide is too generic for this purpose.

    Hi Haseet,

not really... there is the usual Microsoft System Requirements documentation for GP 2015, with MS suggesting 4 different Customer profiles (and thus also sizes of systems)..

They are available from Customer Source :

    https://mbs.microsoft.com/customersource/northamerica/GP/learning/documentation/system-requirements/MDGP2015_System_Requirements

    Hope this helps.

PS: my 2 cents : it's easier today with virtualization to increase your HW requirements as in the past, so I'd suggest to go with VM as often as you can.

PPS: here's another blog entry from CAL Zone : http://www.calszone.com/microsoft-dynamics-gp/gp-highlights/
    it
shows that you can easily scale the system up to 1000 users if done properly (i.e. use of Web client for example)
