Nav 2018 authentication with Azure Cloud Users

Hello,

I am trying to authenticate our Azure Cloud-only users with our Nav 2018 instance. We have the app set up in Azure. I create the user and add their email into the authentication email portion of the Office 365 Authentication section. I also add the app ID but it does not take the app id. it gives me the error that external clients cannot use this client.

Hello,

That field is for SaaS environments only. It is not needed for OnPrem. You need to add the AppId and WS Federation Metadata location and Client Federation Metadata into the customsettings.config file.

Note that all these setting should match very precisely.

Hi Zhu,

Everything is set up in Azure with the enterprise apps according to the documentation. Not sure what else to look at.

I had all of the settings correct. I am not sure what else is missing.
