when i post customer receipt having different exchange rates the business central D 365 do following enteries:
while the correct entry should be :
BANK Dr 1640
CUSTOMER Cr 1630
EXCHANGE GAIN Cr 10
so kindly help me how to resolve this issue.
Presumably this is based on a payment for an invoice so you have applied it to know there is a gain to be had? Given that you can scale the value of invoices up or down by applying the latest exchange rate have you done this?
If 1640 is the amount paid in to the bank and you have applied this to a customer then it will result in what you are previewing. If you want the entries you have stated then you would need to manually post the journal in this way. I don't see that as a system issue I think it is more of an understanding around when the gains and losses kick in for currency.
ok thanks resolved
how it post three enteries like Coronous international .is there any setup required for posting such kind of enteries or not.
thanks
