BC Power BI Finance App – Refresh timeout

Hello.

I have installed the BC Power BI Finance app. I am attempting to connect our data and receiving an error.

Data source error: The XML for Analysis request timed out before it was completed. Timeout value: 7200 sec. Table: G/L Entries.

Any thoughts on how to increase the timeout?

Hi,

I have seen is App are getting timed out because of the underlying data. I hope below link can help configure.

Is the data in G/L Entries too large?

I didn't have this problem when I tested it before.

Thanks for the reply.

I also considered that the data is too large. We have data in BC going back to 2008.

Is there a way to limit/filter the data the App queries?
