Financial Reports (Account Schedule) Sum Formula

Hi all,

I'm creating a Financial Report (Account Schedule) that has some formulae (I want to create some subtotals) - for example, I'm trying to subtotal rows 80-140. I've spaced the rows #'s out by increments of 10 (to make my life easier if I add some interim rows) - but there has to be a more efficient way than doing 80+90+100+110+120+130+140. I tried the obvious (80..140) although this gives me an error. I also tried [80..140] which appears to work, but when I check the math, it comes out with a different value than I was expecting.

Somehow I can't seem to find a full list of the formulas.. I was able to find this: Build Financial Reports Using Financial Data and Account Categories - Business Central | Microsoft Learn but unfortunately it's not completely comprehensive.

If anyone has a comprehensive list (and/or a solution to this) - that would be great!

EDIT: Here is a screenshot of the error. Row 80 & 140 most definitely exist

Hi, it's a little weird, the following settings should work.

    Totaling Type: Formula

    Totaling: 80..140 or 80+90+100+110+120+130+140

The screenshot below is from the standard example in BC21.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

    I have the same problem.

It appears if you have to many columns being added together in the formula field, the summation fails.

    This works: P1+P5+P10+P15+P20+P25+P30+P35+P40.

    This fails: P1+P5+P10+P15+P20+P25+P30+P35+P40+P45+P50+P55+P60+P65.

I also tried P1..P65 which also fails.  The actual number of columns I need to total is P1..P120.

Neither of the failing setting have given me any error messages. Just incorrect totals.

Is this a known issue and if so, is there a workaround?

Also is a comprehensive list of terms that can be used in formulas?
