Behavior of existing records before activation of BPF

Hi All,

I have a requirement to represent the sales process i.e. leads to opportunity as a snapshot in the form of views. I have to display few details such as leads, opportunity id, sales stage, status, status reason etc. related to sales process.

So I have activated the "Leads to opportunity sales process" Business Process Flow so that I can use BPF as an entity and create views out of it. This process was not active previously. So the existing leads and opportunities which were qualified as a lead when the process was not active. I would like to know the best possible way to display the Sales process for the records before activation of BPF
