Hello, I have a couple of questions regarding data encryption.
1. Is it enabled by default for all D365 instances?
2. Can we enable data encryption for out of box fields & custom fields? If yes, will the data be stored in encrypted format in Online CRM database?
3. Also how to make a system field data encrypted? i.e In which place in dynamics CRM should i active the data encryption feature for my system fields?

Microsoft Dynamics CRM uses standard SQL Server cell level encryption for a set of default entity attributes that contain sensitive information, such as user names and email passwords. This feature can help organizations meet FIPS 140-2 compliance.
You can generate your own encryption keys for your Organisation. Please find the below link for more info and how to create encryption keys.
