transfer user account dynamics 365 online

Hi,

We currently have a 365 online environment where my users access CRM using a Microsoft online user account. In a few weeks they will be accessing the 365 environment using their AD account. How can we go about their access to CRM via that AD account making sure that they keep all their records and settings?

    You'll need to setup Azure Active Directory Connect for this

    So following links I find this:

    In steps 2 and 3, you create new users in your on-premises directory. The synchronization tool will periodically check your on-premises directory for any new identities you have created. Then it provisions these identities into Azure AD, links the on-premises and cloud identities to one another, synchronizes passwords, and makes them visible to you through the Office 365 admin center. (support.office.com/.../understanding-office-365-identity-and-azure-active-directory-06a189e7-5ec6-4af2-94bf-a22ea225a7a9)

    Does that mean we can actually match the AD accounts with the existing cloud accounts?
