Fire plugin when calculated field changes

I have created a plugin which works fine when it gets triggered from a field I change manually. I want it to launch every time a calculated field changes, but for some reason I can't get it to work.

The fields have been selected correctly in the plugin step registration, and I am also checking the fields for changes in the plugin code.

Any ideas why this plugin doesn't work properly?

That's because you can't trigger workflows or plugins off of calculated fields: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn832103.aspx#Considerations

hmm. thanks for the reply. I guess I have to rethink this plugin then. Do you know if there is a way of running the plugin at certain intervals?

    Hi k3000,

you cant work directly with calculated fields but ... you need just to trigger workflow when a calculated-field-related fields change.

Please let me know if you solve.
