PSTL Tools IV Reconciler

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi There,

When I try to run the PSTL Tools IVReconciler it gives me an error saying [Microsoft][SQL Server]could not find the stored procedure ivReconcileSearch. after this I tried creating the stored procedure for this through the SQL maintenance but it did not create this particular stored procedure, any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks,

    The second solution did the trick for me.

    "he other reason is having the following options checked on the ODBC; (Use ANSI quoted identifiers and Use ANSI nulls) and (padding and warnings should both be unchecked) Refer to support article for further details; Article ID: 907675"

    you need to remove the checks then open the PSTL and click on "Register" and it will create all the procedures and tables again.

    Thanks.

    So, how to fix it.

    You need to remove PSTL and then run a sql script to remove the triggers.  Then reinstall PSTL.

    You can get this script from MS.  Open a case with support

    This is normally encountered due to one of the following;

    1. When the PSTL was first configured, installation was not successfully completed, when you first open Dynamics GP after deploying the .cnk file and open PSTL for the first time, stored procedures and other database objects are created.

    2. The other reason is having the following options checked on the ODBC; (Use ANSI quoted identifiers and Use ANSI nulls) and (padding and warnings should both be unchecked) Refer to support article for further details; Article ID: 907675

    Hope this helps,
