default warehouse for return sales order

I look for a set up for Return sales order

My Customer want to handle a RMA warehouse as a default per item

on the order default setting " the default order type is "Purchase order"

how can  I set RMA default warehouse

    Hello Vered,

    The default order setting 'Purchase Order' in your illustration is the default order type used by Master Planning. In this case, when there is a demand the system know to compensate by creating a Purchaser Order.  The default warehouses are defined in the other tabs that are below your print screen (Purchase Orders, Inventory and Sales)

    For defaut warehouse for RMA, there is no such setup so it is not possible without development.  On the warehouse form, you can specify which location to use for a RMA received in that warehouse.   If you are using Warehouse Management Processes, you can also define an Inventory Status that flags the item as a returned item.

    I would question your customer on the reason behind that requirement.  I would be surprised if that requirement was hard and fast.  If the requirement is to isolate return goods, there are several ways to address without creating a warehouse for that purpose only.
