Cannot delete Employee

When I try to delete an employee that has no history I get an error that there is data in the PIP APR Distribution Report Detail.  The employee was added in error as a duplicate and was caught before any transactions were posted.  We did run a build and a calculate but no check was printed or posted.  How can I delete this employee?

    Brenda:

    This is the table that you are running into an issue on.  You may have to take a look and see if the employee is listed in this table and delete the employee from this table  and then do your normal delete.

    That table is empty.  (we have not completed the first check run)

    Then I would go back to Richard Whaley's suggestion and go thru all the payroll work tables and make sure that the employee isn't being held there and delete the data on the work tables

    Note: Make sure you have a latest backup for the company database before following the steps suggested from the above link.
