Formulas - How we can use Co-Products as a Main Products?

Hi Team,

I have a question, I am trying to set up formulas in D365 F&O. I did created the production type as Co-Products to use but we more often than not face a situation where in our Co-Products can sometime be the main Products?

How we can use Co-Products as a Main Products, If needed?

I believe that's not possible in standard Dynamics 365 SCM, because you cannot link a co-product to a formula:

Would it be idea to create an additional released product? Otherwise my advice is to consider a customization or raise an idea on the ideas portal. Link to the ideas portal: https://experience.dynamics.com/ideas/
