Item Charge on job invoice

Hello there!

I am facing issue while assigning 'item charge'.

Steps I followed,

1. created a item, taken type - service

2. created a Job and now creating a invoice with above said item.

3. Now Added item charge line

4. If I go to assign item charge to sales invoice. it does not show s line of sales invoice. 

Kindly guide me.

    On the pdf print out? Which report id do you use for invoices? Check report selections - sales. Any custom layout? Check report layout selections

    Hey josh,

    No not while print,

    when I post invoice from job card.

    I create sales invoice from job planning line, now on sales invoice item charge was entered.

    When I go to assign item charge, it does not shows line of invoice.

    so, I am unable to post sales invoice created from job planning line with item charge.

    Item charges are for inventory items. If you need a supplementary charge build it into the service item price or add a new line of type g/l account or another service item
