Hi.

I have REST web service hosted on IIS. How can I filter connections that come only from Dynamics365 online? I don't want to pass any other but only those requests from D365.

thanks,

JJ

    Hi,

Basically you need white list rule for incoming connection for CRM server.

    There are several solutions below

    1. Firewall AllowAccess Rule for incoming connection for CRM server address

    2. IIS level IP/Domain Filter for CRM Server address

    1. Go into IIS manager, and choose the folder you want to add the restriction to
    2. Double click "IP Address and Domain Restrictions"
    3. Click the "Add Allow Entry" action, and add the entry for someorg.crm8.dynamics.com
    4. Click "Edit Feature Settings" and change the "Access for Unspecified clients" to be denied

    3. Implement IP/Domain Filter in WCF service (refer this Link)
