Setting up GovTalk

Hi, I'm new to Dynamics and am setting up a client's accounting records in Business Central.

I can see from the help article "Report VAT to Tax Authorities" that I should activate the GovTalk connection via the "Service Connections" list. However, when I navigate to this list "GovTalk" is not on it.

Can I have some advice on what to do next?

    Nicola,

    I am guessing you are speaking about Making Tax Digital with the UK. Here is a link to the setup instructions:

    You may want to raise a support request to Microsoft support via your CSP / Partner

    Hi Andy, thanks for getting back to me.

    The company information page shows that it is in the UK and so I assume the company would have been set up with a UK setup?

    I've asked the administrator to install the Making Tax Digital extension, but he's not confident that he's installed it correctly and there has been no change to the Service Connection options.

    I guess the only thing I can do now is ask the administrator to get some support with setting this up.

    I am a NA Engineer, so I didn't have this option under Connection Setup.  I spun up a GB tenant and I can see this in the list in Service Connections (GovTalk Setup). What region is your environment in?
