Closing Fiscal Periods for All Companies at Once?

Hello:

Is there a tool that closes fiscal periods in GP for all companies, at once? 

Someone told me that this is the work of the Fiscal Period Modifier.  But, I have used that tool before.  I don't recall using that tool, as a mechanism for closing fiscal periods for all companies.
