I'd like to explore the financial feasibility of running Education Accelerator. What is the minimum Dynamics 365 package we will need to get Education Accelerator running for our school. And is there an education SKU for this? for both standard user and team member?

The Power Platform licenses you need to use the higher education accelerator will depend on which modules you intend to use. If you visit solutions.microsoft.com/Education Accelerator and browse the data model, sample app and portal components by clicking on Quick View, you'll see which licenses are required (usually it's Power Apps or Power Apps portals).
