    Hi!

From my experience building templates for Work Orders, custom fields are available in the Word Document.

I would first of all make sure you have published the new fields before generating the Word Template file.

Secondly, I would recommend trying to generate it again, you can follow this tutorial if needed, maybe you're missing something.

If you still cannot see the fields, I would recommend opening a ticket with Microsoft from your Office 365 Administration Center.

    Hope it helps!

    Hi Loic

    I see,

In my opinion for your requirement you have three choices:

    - Use an SSRS report that will allow you to get the fields.

    - Add the custom field you added to your "Product Entity" to the "Quote Product Entity" and populate that field whenever a Quote Product Object is created. (you can do this with the mappings or with a Workflow).

The reason for this is that your Quotation is not directly linked to the "Product Table" but to a "Quote Product Table". From Out of the Box reports, you cannot access multiple levels of depth, therefore when generating the Word Template for a Quotation, the "Product" Entity where you added your custom field is not accessible.

The third choice you have is to use a solution called "DocumentsCorePack" (http://www.mscrm-addons.com/Products/DocumentsCorePack) which enhances the out of the box capabilities of Dynamics CRM to create Word Templates and will most likely allow you to retrieve the field from the Product Entity. The solution has a cost though.
