"An error occurred during local report processing." / Fetch connection string no longer works in Dynamics Office 365 enviorment

Greetings,

We have the following problem:
We are running multiple instances of CRM some in the Dynamics Cloud using live IDs others have been transitioned to the Office 365 platform.
Using SQL Server 2008 Business Intelligence studio to write reports, we have installed Microsft Dynamics CRM report authoring tool version 5.0.96.90.3448 and MS Online Sign-in Services version 7.20.21.303.5

If we author a report using a CRM Fetch Connection string pointing to organization hosted in the CRM cloud centre home e,g, in the form https://crm5.dynamics.com;organization.id creating and running a report works.

But if we attempt to connect to an organisation that has been transitioned to the Office 365 CRM Platform (using a organistion id rather than a live id – although in our case they happen to have the same email address as the id), then this connection does NOT work. It complains that

"An error occurred during local report processing." "An error has occurred during report processing." "Cannot create a connection to data source 'DataSource1'. "The organization "******" that  you specified was not found for the user.  Specify a valid organization name, and try again.

; However, we know that this user DOES have access to that organisation. The only difference seems to be that the organisation is hosted on the (new) Office 365 environment rather than the (old) Dynamics CRM online platform.

Any thoughts?

I might be a bit late, but I faced the same error and I solved it by doing the following:

    - us the following connection string "https://disco.crm4.dynamics.com;%yourOrgaName%"
