Transfer Order status didn't change to Receive after receiving all items

Hi,

There are few transfer orders (10-15) where the status is still "Shipped" and didn't change to "Received" even though all items are received.

We are using the Item Registration process and all Items are showing as registered.

I'm unable to recreate the issue due to which I unable to understand what steps the users followed due to which it's not getting received.

When I try it and ship receive with registration, it's successfully goes to "Received" status.

Shipped Qty: 5

Item Registered: Yes

Received Qty: 5 (Why is it showing Remaining 5?)

Appreciate any tips.

Hi Mohammad Yusuf,

To change the statuses post the packing slip on the transfer order. Also, in-order to change the status from shipped to received make sure the entire quantity is received (partial shipment won't change the status).

Thanks for input.

As you can see 5 Qty was shipped and 5 was received. Why is it showing 5 in Receive Remain?

The transfer orders use what we call the transit warehouse. The status of the order is shipped is the final status for a transfer order. When items are shipped out of the originating default type warehouse, they move into this transit warehouse. And they stay there until they are received at the destination, so I think actually these items haven't really been received yet. This is the reason why is it showing 5 in Receive Remain.

See if this changes when you post the receipt side, and you’re receiving it into the destination warehouse.

Thanks, here's a transfer order inventory transactions which is still showing as Shipped:

In the previous order in UAT, I added the registration line again which was -ve ie (-1) and confirmed it. Then I tried to again register with +ve quantity, it got registered, the receive button was then enabled. I received it and the Transfer Order status changed to "Received".

But when I tried to do the same in production, the -ve line got registered, but when I tried to register again, it's giving me the error, the registered quantity cannot exceed shipped quantity.
