Upgrade Business Central to Wave 2

Hi,

Do we need to give Global admin for someone to be able to upgrade our Business Central to wave 2? We are currently on the Business Central cloud version.

We are thinking to engage an external consultant to help us to upgrade to wave 2. However, for security purposes, we don't want to provide global admin access to our office365 to the consultant.

Is there an alternative way to be able to give the consultant access without giving global admin to upgrade our Business Central?

Or the upgrade can be done easily through our IT provider?

Hi,

If you are on the cloud version, Microsoft will perform the upgrade. The only thing you will need to take care of is the extensions you may have created and uploaded.
