SAP ERP integration with Dynamics CRM

Our customer has a need to extend the existing SAP ERP systems and leverage Dynamics CRM. Is there a references on how to integrate SAP and Dynamics CRM? The data source would be from SAP ERP, MS Exchange/Lotus Notes . We are looking out for real-time synchronization of Master Data between SAP ERP modules like FICO, SD, MM & QM with Dynamics CRM. Should we rely on ISV providers or other tools? 


If the integration capabilities are possible and adoptable with out too many customization, there is a good chance of leveraging Dynamics CRM for now and moving forward with AX.

 

Appreciate any help or pointers with the above request....

    I need to change the sap path name which is integrated with crm 4.0.But unable to find the path in code solution file is there any way to find this config settings ?Currently one path we r using for sap server this need to change with other path.How I can achieve ? Any help ?

    I have been doing some working of integration of sap business one with crm.

    We use sap as master database and use update crm data uisng crm web services api. (data synchronization is not real time, but every hour)

    I suppose you can try to use sap web services tool (from sap developer network), and build crm 4 customization plug program to use that sap web services.

    So, your crm plugin will react to crm event hanlder and then update sap data using sap web services api.

    I think this approach might be what are you looking for.

    In terms of the real-time synchronization of master data, it comes to my mind that if both products support OAGIS (Open Applications Group Integration Specification), that will be easy to implement.. OAGIS defines the common structure of master data which can be used to inter-operate among multiple applications.
