How to create a custom view to see cases owned by team or user

Hi,

I am trying to create a view to see cases where the owner could be team or a user of that team. As a system admin if I should be able to see this view so I can't say owner equal to current user or team so I tried owning user and giving the team name. In this case I can see only cases where the owner is a user. Tried Owning team then I can see only cases where owner is the team. Some how I am unable to specify or condition here. Any ideas how to solve this.

    Hi,

From your description I got the idea that your problem is getting cases whose owner is a user that belongs to a specified team. To get those cases you can use this filter:

You can use the dynamic value of users team/my team.

Unfortunately conditions must all equal true in an advanced find so you can have a view which has my user or my team, it has to be my user and my team.

You maybe need two separate views, although I think they already exist in the system.

but if you wanted a specific team you would need to create a new view with that team selected

    Hi CRMAB,

Yes, you need Owning User or Owning Team from the related entities query.

Which is not possible to have OR Condition from related entity attribute as criteria.

I agree with Ben, you need create 2 views to achieve this.

And one of the view you can filter criteria from Nuno.

    Thanks.
