User can't create or edit personal dashboard

A user can't create or edit my existing personal dashboard.  I looked at the role he has and the security and the User Dashboard is set to User for Create, Read, Write, Delete, Assign and Share. 

"Cannot Edit Dashboard

The requested record was not found or you do not have permissions to view it"

What is keeping him from creating and editing his own personal dashboard?

    Does the user have a role with the below privilege, they need write and create on user dashboard.

    Yes it has as mentioned in my earlier post. The User Dashboard as "User" for create, read, write, delete, assign and share.

    You made the statement "my existing personal dashboard."  Who created the dashboard, you or the user in question?

    If they are trying to edit a dashboard that you own, then the error is correct.  They do not have access to you dashboard unless you have shared it with them and given then specific editing privileges.

    The user can't create his own personal dashboard. Or even edit the ones he already made.  Sorry about the confusion.

    there is no edit option in user created dashboard where as admin has given all dashboard options security level to user

    What do you mean?

    We have the same issue. On premise CRM 2015.  Some users are fine, others get the error message telling them they cannot edit the Dashboard? The security profiles of the users are EXACTLY the SAME and yet recently added users get the error message (shown on screen at top of this blog).
