You can setup items as non-inventory which means that no quantity on hand is tracked.

If you are referring to physical inventory, you would either have to filter it out (<>itemnumber) or delete it from physical inventory journal.

Items have a field called “Type”. Find that field on an item you have not used or create a new item. Three choices: inventory, service or non inventory.

    Andre,

Items can be setup with different Types, they are:

Inventory - physical inventory that will be counted

Service - Labor or some Service related item

Non-Inventory - physical inventory that is NOT counted

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve

You can use non-inventory type item. Just remember that you will lost the ability to track this item inventory and costing properly.
