I'm trying to create an approval workflow based on a purchase requisition. I want to create a conditional workflow based to the belonging of an item to a specific category.
Assuming that I create from the start -> Conditional situation -> If the item belongs to Category "Test1" -> True, I set an automatic approval workflow, so It approves itself automatically.
If false I want to set an approval workflow based on a Hierarchy with 3 possible approvers. If the cost of the item is less or equal to € 5000, I set the approval on automatic as the first one (Category Test1).
If the cost is greater than 5000, I set the approval workflow based on the hierarchy.
I want to ideally set and assign to every approver a maximum amount to be able to approve the purchase requisition.
I ideally start from the originator of the workflow, who can automatically approve an amount of maximum € 5000.
Then, I set to the originator a "reports to" to "Simon Lebon", who can approve a maximum amount of € 10000.
Then, "Simon Lebon" reports to "Elvis Presley", who can approve a maximum amount of € 20000.
How can I set the approval hierarchy, based on the exact amounts of approval?
