Adding fields to power automate flow

Hi,

We have created a flow in Power Automate, that connects to Business Central.

We are using "When a record is created (v3)", with table name purchaseOrders. When we want to add dynamic content, there is a list of available fields to select from

Is there any way to add fields to that list?

Can the field SystemCreatedBy be added to the flow?

Thanks

-Julie

You cannot add fields directly like you would for other pages in the application. The v3 BC connector lets you pick custom api pages. This blog is helpful on the extra fields scenario you face: www.kauffmann.nl/.../

This does help understanding the process, however I can't seem to figure it out why it's not working

I copied page 30066 "APIV2 - Purchase Orders" into my own page

I added location code as a field, just to test a simple scenario

I added the RegisterFieldSet on the onvalidate trigger

Published the web service and the value of that field is always blank, for records that already existed before, and for new record I created as a test

I'm not sure what I'm missing

You mention “published the web service” did you not create an extension and deploy it? If you did then you will have a new custom api category to choose from the BC connector list:

I have a group at the top for all my custom api pages
