Note index not displaying for invoicing only BILL on smartlist built from Receivable transactions

I built a smartlist using receivable transactions, I was able to select show note index and it work perfectly for entering notes at the document inquiry level for all BILL type documents. However, the standard invoices do not display the note index.

I can use Smartlist builder but do not have much experience with SQL or report writer.

Which window are you looking at that includes the note you want to display?
