I'm a new user of Microsoft Dynamics 4.0 and I'm trying to find out if anyone knows how I can integrate an existing .net web app with this CRM.
Is it possible to have a contact record display inside of an IFRAME located in my existing application?
I know it's possible to integrate an application into the CRM but can you integrate the CRM into another application?

Hi Tony, yes you can integrate CRM with other systems. In your example, you could call the URL of the contact record in your .NET app: http://<servername>/sfa/conts/edit.aspx?id=<GUID>. Alternatively, you could integrate at the data level and pump the CRM contact data into your .NET application.
If you are just getting started at this, I recommend a couple of training courses: Customizing Microosft Dynamics CRM 4.0 and Extending Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0. And the CRM SDK which is available at MSDN. And there are a couple of good books available too: Programming Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 and CRM as a Rapid Development Platform.

I'm calling the url from the src in an IFRAME control but i'm getting errors when I access the controls in the CRM.
The error is an access is denied error.
Your problem may be that your account in IIS does not have access to the record in CRM. Be sure that it is using windows authentication and not anonymous so the credentials of the current user are used.
