Integration Manager Madness

Hi, we are based in the UK and have fun and games with Integration Manager, v12. We have a strange configuration whereby our server has had to be configured in to US regional settings, i.e. all dates on the server at mm/dd/yyyy

Our client installations and workstations are configured as UK, i.e. dd/mm/yyyy

Integration Manager is giving us a huge headache. We have produced a GL eConnect integration which passes AA data in to a GL journal. This will work absolutely fine in the first 12 days of a month. However, from the 13th onwards, the integration fails with the error DOC 1 ERROR: The conversion of a varchar data type to a datetime data type resulted in an out-of-range value. We have tried every date input imaginable when entering the date but whatever we do, it fails.

Does anyone have any ideas? Could a script be created to convert the date in to the required format?

Thanks, we are at a loss.

Absolutely yes a script could be used as part of the destination mapping. Have you already tried using the "default" in your destination mapping for transaction date? I would also try sending a constant date in the desired format for the transaction date first to see if IM accepts the format, before writing a script to parse the source data column.

There are quite a number of script examples from IM Help menu that you could use to arrive at the correct syntax.

Thanks for the response. I am not that good at scripting etc. I have found the following community.dynamics.com/.../working-with-dates-in-integration-manager-vbscript

could I trouble you for some specific guidance on what you'd enter where in IM?

Many thanks and sorry for the hassle.
