Share Power BI report for all users in CRM v9.0

Hi,

We are working on a global overview report (power bi), that should be visualised on the home page when you access CRM.

I can easily create a Power BI dashboard or add a Power BI Tile to a regular dashboard.

But then I realised that neither the Power BI dashboard nor the Power BI Tile is available if you create a system dashboard via a solution.

I also tried to use an IFrame with a link to the power bi dashboard, but it won't render with the message "app.powerbi.com refused to connect". Looking at the code within the frame, I do see a lot of code for oauth and a non minified jscript code.

Is there another OOB approach on embedding a power bi report/dashboard on a regular dashboard (that can be transferred between environments)?

Maybe through web resource or something like that?

Any suggestions/idea's ?

When you publish the PowerBI report to web, you will get it working in system dashboard iframe.

Hi Arun,

That's true but then you loose your security context because behaves as a 'static' report.

The data that is shown must be restricted based on the user's profile.
