    Donnette -

Both methods outlined by myself and Joshua use Dynamics GP Report Writer, which is built into GP and requires no additional installation or purchase.   You can access Report Writer by clicking the Modify Button when a report is printed to screen, or by opening report writer using Tools > Customize > Report Writer then selecting the specific report you want to modify.  This can be a bit confusing, because there are so many reports in Dynamics GP, so I generally start a modification by clicking on the Modify button, when looking at the report I want to customize.

In addition to Harrys method another way of doing it in Report Writer is below. Some people prefer the method outlined by Harry some prefer the below method, it's just a matter of preference and you'll want to try both to see which works best for you for future modifications.

    1) Open the report and go into the report layout window.

    2) Click anywhere in the report layout window to make sure it is the active window.

    3) In the menu bar click Layout>Properties to open the properties box.

    4) If the properties box doesn't open it means it's open and "hiding" behind another window (usually the layout window) and you will need to move windows until you find the properties box.

    5) In the report layout window select you calc filed.

    6) In the properties box click on the visual tab.

    7) From this window you can manipulate sever of the display options (click the field and punch in the desired size at the top)

If you have any other questions please feel free to let us know!

    Hi Donnette,

If you have modifier enabled in your GP system, you can modify the report to do do the changes mentioned by Harry.

If not, you need to point the copy of GP installation's Dynamics.dic to dexterity application, open the corresponding report to do the changes mentioned by Harry.

In the Reporter Writer Toolbox, choose the Arrange Tab - select the problem field and another field, the size you want to resize to and choose size, resize to smallest (in this case).
